Clutch Purse Card Holder; Handmade GiftsWhen I saw this clutch with notes cards, I knew they would make wonderful Hostess Gifts
It holds 4 Note cards and envelopes
and here are the cards
If you are looking for "quick and easy" and USEFUL, this is a DARLING set
Stampin' Up sells the 5" x 3 1/2" Note Cards and they come in a pack of 20 with envelopes! And only $6.00 for a pack - and you have your choice of Whisper White or Very Vanilla!!
I wanted to share how to make this cute clutch. I saw this on Dawn Griffith's site and she cased it from another demo!
Start with a 12" x 12" piece of designer series paper of your choice
Which ever side you want to be on the main part of the clutch, will be facedown
Fold from point to point
Next fold up 3/4" at the bottom - be sure and use the bone folder to burnish well
Open it up and place the opposite points together and gently crease in the center - this is to find the center point
Open up and bring the points into the center - your creases in this picture should be folded in
Now fold the center crease line in a mountain fold - or fold it to the center
Then fold the two sides valley fold - so you now have the "gusset"
You can now fold the tips down - I folded them to about 1" from the bottom. Fold one side and then match the other side
You clutch is made - no adhesive at all
This is the inside where the cards flip in
For a closure, I used stick magnets. You can find them at your local hardware store, so lots of places online (the ones I used are 3/8" in diameter and 1/16" thick
You could also use velcro!
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial
