I did use one of the new "Basic 3D Embossing Folders

The one I used is the "Crosshatch" design

You can get all 3 together as a bundle:  Crosshatch Design, Hobnail and Flowers

I used Soft Seaform for the card base

Embossed the front using the Crosshatch Embossing Folder

Added a "length" of Soft Succulent Trellis and then the sentiment

Calypso Coral Card Base 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" 

Hello Iresistible Designer Series Paper 6" x 5 1/2" scored at 1/2" and 4 3/4"

So you will score the DSP and then fold at the 1/2" scoreline.  This will wrap around the back of the card base

The other score line will be folded back on itself for the front

I added some Calypso Coral and Soft Seafoam cut 5 1/2" x 1" to emphasize the piece

Then when you open it up, the other side of this beautiful paper shows (see picture above)

Fun Fold Card - Gift Card Holder using Designer Series Paper

This is another demonstration I am sharing with my club members for February

I saw this on a blog post on Patty Bennett's a number of years ago.

Patty called it the Tri-Fold card design

You start with a piece of designer series paper that measures 12" x 5 1/4" and is scored at 4" and 8"

Once you burnished the score lines, start at the bottom section and cut from the top left to the bottom right and take off a triangle

Add some Tear & Tape to the left side

Then cut for the front and inside

I used the Scalloped Contours rectangle scallop dies

For the front I used the 3rd from the largest

I added some Gorgeous Grape which measures 3 7/8" x 2 5/8"

For the inside, I used the 2nd largest Scalloped Contour die and added some Gorgeous Grape measuring 4 5/8" x 3 1/4"

You can add a piece of cardstock to the bottom of the inside (Highland Heather 4 5/8" x 1" if you would like to include a gift card.  I just added some tear & Tape to the sides and bottom

I mounted this on a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock measuring 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

There is a new suite of products coming March 1st - called Hello, Irresistible Suite

I used the sentiments from this set - love the font!!

Adorable Owls February Club Project

I had to cancel our regular club meeting on Thursday the 23rd
