One of the things I love doing is a calendar every November
This year I received a calendar from one of my retreat attendees - thanks Lenore
I used this idea for my calendars this year
I have to share a little "red-faced" incident about the calendars frames
I ordered them from Amazon and when I got them, I was a bit disappointed because they seemed "opaque"
But I went ahead and made my samples
And then comes club night. I handed out the frames and low and behold Holly (my daughter) looked at it
and tore off the "opaque" layer
I totally missed that!! I was a bit embarrassed, but glad she caught it!
So if the one above looks "dull", it's because I was "dull"!!
Measurements
I'm not going to add the colors, since each person will choose their own theme, but I used the Hues of Happiness DSP (designer series Paper), and coordinated my cardstock with the pattern I used
Cardstock 5 3/4" x 3 3/4"
DSP 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
That piece goes in the "picture" area
We mounted the calendar on the front
Cardstock 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"
Cardstock 4" x 2 1/2"
I ordered the frames from Amazon and the little calendars from Vippies.com
The calendars are 3" x 2 1/4"
I also added some Tear & Tape Adhesive to the bottom of the calendar - the top has adhesive, but adding adhesive to the bottom secures it a bit better
