August Stamp of the Month - Ringed with Nature Bundle

Wonder what the Stamp of the Month Kit is?  If you have ever purchased stamps and accessories and then didn’t know what to do with them when you received them, I have the solution.  You purchase the kit, and I will send you the products and three projects to do up immediately.  The kit includes the stamp set and whatever else I choose in making the card kits.  I don’t include adhesives, ink and stamped images (per Stampin' Up rules), and you can substitute what you have.  These projects are fun and easy to do.  I will send you a pdf file by email with the instructions and pictures for each project and the actual product to make three projects will be included in your kit!

Tree Lot Dies - Sale-A-Bration Item

I feel SO terrible that I haven't posted in almost a month on my blog!!

July was/is SO busy 

First we had an Open House - getting ready for that was brutal (SMILE)

Then this weekend I had my retired items garage sale

Santa Express Suite

The Santa Express Suite is SO cute

Here's a card shared by Laura Barto

This is called a "wiper" card

The "Special Delivery" sign pops up with you open the card!

Measurements

Poppy Parade 8 1/2" x 4 1/2"  scored at 5 1/2" & 7"

an additional piece of Poppy Parade is added that is 8 1/2" x 2" and is scored on the left side at 1 1/2" & 3"

Basic White 5 1/4" x 4" - this piece is inside the card and s run through the Charming Landscape Embossing Folder

The front piece is Basic White 5 1/4" x 4" and then a piece is cut out from the left side that measures to the 4" mark (this is hard to explain), but

you would cut down from the right side at 1 1/4" and cut away 4".  So your piece measures 1 3/4" x 4" on the left and 4" x 1 1/4" on the right.  The top of that piece is also run through the Charming Landscape Embossing Folder

Faux Tearing Technique; Stampin' Up Cards

This is such a simple technique but so effective!

I just took a piece of copy paper and tore it and then placed it on the Basic White

I then used a blending brush to blend Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight

I then just took off the copy paper and then I stamped the images

Faux Tearing Technique; Stampin' Up Techniques; Birthday Cards

I have one more card to share using the Faux Tearing Technique

Such a fun technique

This time I tore copy paper and placed it at the top and bottom of the Basic White 

I used a Blending Brush and blended Balmy Blue Ink

Before taking off the copy paper, I stamped the poppies from Painted Poppies

Quick card and love how it turned out
