Here's a darling little Party Puffin Post-It Note Holder
I have a real affinity with Puffins
When we visited Iceland in August, we saw the Puffins up close and personal!
We were able to see their breeding grounds and even released a "lost" Puffling (baby Puffin)
Did you know that Puffins are mated for life? Above you can see their breeding grounds. They spend six months at sea - never even returning to land. Then when it's time to breed they head to their breeding grounds. They find their mate and burrow into the hillside.
They lay one egg per year and when the baby Puffin (Puffling), is ready to fledge, they fly out to the sea. But.....on the Island of Heimaey, when the babies fly at night, they think the street lights are the sea, so they fly to the street lights. And they are lost. So the children on the island catch and release them the next day. This is about two weeks in August.
We were staying at an AirBnB and the host and his family found two and let us release one of them!
Here's Dan releasing the baby Puffling
Such a fun experience!
So when I saw this little note pad holder, you can imagine my excitement - I received it in a swap and just had to make some
All my downline received these for the holidays
Here's a little tutorial - these are quick and easy to make!!
Basic Black Cardstock 8 1/2" x 2 1/2" scored at 2 1/8", 4 1/8" and 4 1/2"
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 2 3/8" x 2"
Basic White - 4" x 2" - cut a tag with Tailor Made Tags Dies
Adhere the Pumpkin Pie cardstock to the Basic Black on the out portion from the 2" score mark to the edge
Adhere the tag to the Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Add a 2" x 1 1/2" Post it note to the inside
See how it sits up?
Fun project and SO easy and they fold down to mail!

I will pick one person to be the hostess and receive all the rewards for the entire workshop.
You must use the hostess code to be eligible for the hostess code benefits.
Each $50 in orders will receive one ticket toward being a winner!
How do you use a hostess code?

At the top right, there is a box for the hostess code
Copy and paste the code 3X27BF6A into the box and click "Apply"
If your order is over $150, don't use the hostess code, as you will have rewards to redeem
