Have you seen the "Napkin Technique"
Wondering what in the world napkins have to do with cards?
Well, here's some cards we made in our club meetings in June
It's hard to see, but there is glitter!!! LOTS of glitter
If you have never tried this technique, I'm going to share a little picture tutorial
You will need (I will use the products on this card)
Granny Apple Green Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Daffodil Delight 5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White 5" x 3 3/4"; 2 3/4" x 1" (for sentiment)
Adhesive Sheets 5" x 3 3/4"
Napkin (you can find these lots of places - Amazon.com, Tuesday Morning etc.)
VersaMark Ink Pad
Heat & Stick Powder
Dazzling Diamonds (or something that's equal - SU doesn't sell it anymore)
Heat Tool
Step 1. Remove the layers of the napkin until you are down to just one layer. Each napkin can do 4 cards. Cut off 1/4
Step 2. Adhere the Adhesive sheet to the Basic White
Step 3. Remove the adhesive from the Basic White (t's VERY STICKY)
Step 4. Lay the napkin over the Basic White and adhere - cut off any excess
Step 5. Using the VersaMark Pad, ink up the napkin
Step 6. Cover with Heat & Stick Powder and heat with the heat gun just until the powder's opaque is gone
Step 7. Cover with Dazzling Diamonds and then reheat to set it up
Step 8. Finish card
