Snail Mail Suite

The Snail Mail Suite is perfect

At first I wasn't going to get it, and then I remembered all the grandchildren I need to make cards for!

This set is perfect for that

But of course, NOT limited to children!

Paper Pumpkin March 2021 "Here's to You"

The March Paper Pumpkin Kit was SO fun to do

Paper Pumpkin February 2021

Have you ever tried Paper Pumpkin

Wonder what it is?

It's a monthly subscription kit offered by Stampin' UP

You get it around the 15th of the month

It varies on themes per month, and is always fun to put together

We had been doing a monthly get-together called "Paper Pumpkin Outside the Box", but covid came along and we can't meet together

So......this last week a few of got together and I was able to put together both February and March kits

I'll share February here and check back tomorrow for March

I purchase a minimum of two kits per month

The first kit I put together just as the directions say

This kit included enough to make 9 cards - 3 each of the above designs

Everything you need to make your cards including envelopes to mail them in

For the 2nd kit, I like to make "alternatives"

Here's 12 cards I made changing everything up

I added some extra card stock and that really was all!

Always fun to do other ideas!

One Sheet Card Holder

Yesterday I shared how to make a One Sheet Card Holder

Yep, that's right

You use just one piece of 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper 

This card holder can hold 4-6 cards plus envelopes (depending on how many embellishments you add)

Hostess Gifts - Hydrangea Suite

I love making card gifts for my hostesses

This month I made this great folder (from one sheet of !2" x 12" Designer Series Paper)

And I made 4 cards for the inside

The Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper is SO beautiful 

You definitely don't want to miss out on this paper

One of the designs (two sheets) has flowers on two sides and you can cut it and have six card fronts

This is what I made the cards out of.

SO quick and easy!  

I used the Happy Thoughts sentiment stamp set!!

Butterfly Brilliance Simple Card

We made this really simple card in class

I used the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and the Brilliant Wings Dies

My intention was to use the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series, but since it sold out, I decided to 

stamp the butterflies and let everyone color their own!!

You should have seen some of the beautiful butterflies!!

Sponging Technique - Garden Wishes Stamp Set - Technique: Sponging

I really had fun making these samples of sponging to share with my club members last week!

Sponging gives you SO many choices for your stamps

I used a Sponge Dauber - sponged on ink and then "huffed" on the stamp to awaken the ink!

This card uses the Garden Wishes Stamp Set and coordinating Dandy Wishes Dies from the January-June Mini Catalog

My first time to use this stamp - LOVE it!

Dandelions - Sponging Technique - Stampin' Up Demonstrations for my club

Sponging is a great way to get multiple colors from your stamp!!

I made this card using the soon-to-be-retired Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set

Stampin' Up Monthly Club Meetings - Technique Sponging

I shared a couple idea on sponging with my club members this month!

First I showed how to coordinate colors

The background paper is from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper which is not gone

But.....this can be used with any designer paper!!

I found the coordinating colors, cut out the butterfly in Basic White Card Stock and just sponged So Saffron and Just Jade to match the background
