I saw this technique recently on a demonstration facebook page and just had to try it!
Love how it turned out
It's called the Split Front Card and I saw it on Tina Shaw's blog
Isn't that pretty?
So to make this card, I cut the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper at 5" x 3 3/4"
I then placed a little "tick" mark at 1" from the right bottom side and 2 1/4" up on the right side.
I then cut from the top left down to each "tick" mark and ended up with two pieces
Here's the template
If you want to add some cardstock along the centers, cut a piece of cardstock (Garden Green in this case) 6" x 3/4"
Add adhesive to the designer series paper and adhere to the cardstock
Trim off the edges
Add the designer series paper to the Bumblebee Cardstock (5 1/4" x 4") and ten to the card base
I cut out one poinsettia using the coordinating die and added it to the top with Stampin' Dimensionals
Added the beads and stamped the sentiment
Done!!
Really quick and simple, but oh so pretty!
