It's very "in fashion" to wear Hawaiian Shirts and our beautiful Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper is perfect for creating Origami shirts.
Origami Hawaiian Shirt
Here’s a little picture tutorial to make the shirt
Start with a piece of designer series paper 7 ¼” x 6”
Score at 1 ½” and 4 ½” on the 6” side
Turn and score at the top at ¾”
Fold each score line to the inside
Fold on the ¾” score line to the back
Turn it over and fold to the inside as shown in picture. I used my bone folder and creased along the score line to make it more “bendable”
Measure up about 2 5/8” and fold from that point to the outside
Now fold up at this point and tuck the shirt under the collar
I added the Designer Elements as buttons
Adhere to card front – done!! Easy Peasy!!
Here’s a couple more samples using different pieces of the designer series paper
And here is another version – bigger shirt and not on a card base
And you can make it into a gift card holder
Same directions for the smaller shirt, but you will start with a piece that is 10” x 6”
Score at 1 ½” and 4 ½” and ¾” at the top
Fold up the bottom at approximately 3 ¼”
I used the Arts & Crafts Dies to make the buttons for these shirts!

well goodness gracious this is absolutely terrific. Love that shirt, and the DSP is perfect. Thank you again for sharing the instructions. This will be a perfect make for my daughter's father-in-law.
