Cut the card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Score at 2", 3 1/8", 5 3/8" and 6 1/2"

Mountain fold the two center score lines and valley fold the two outer score lines

Whisper White (for center) 5 1/4" x 2"

Coastal Cabana Gingham 2 pieces 5 1/4" x 1 3/4"

I also added a piece of Whisper White 5 1/4" x 2" to the back for writing

Let's Use the Pigment Sprinkles

I haven't used the Pigment Sprinkles much and I have seen some beautiful backgrounds featuring them.

So for my club demonstration, I made these cards using the Breathtaking Bouquet Stamp Set, some white embossing powder and the Pigment Sprinkles

What a fun technique!!

The Pigment Sprinkles can be found on page 179 of the Annual Catalog

They come six to a package in the following colors:

Bermuda Bay

Daffodil Delight

Granny Apple Green

Gorgeous Grape

Mango Melody

Melon Mambo

 

WOW - they are really fun to work with

For this card, I cut a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock 5" x 3 3/4"

I stamped the large background image - Breathtaking Bouquet in VersaMark Ink

I then heat set white embossing powder

Then I spritzed a bit of water on the front

Next I tapped lightly on the Bermuda Bay Pigment Sprinkles 

Then spritzed again with water

You can see the pigment sprinkles dissipate and your color come through

If you get too much water, use a paper towel to blot some off

And you have a beautiful background

I just added a sentiment because I didn't want to distract from the background!

Let's Play!! Double Pocket Gift Card Holder

Yes, let's play!!

Since we are home (most of us!) and have time, let's make something fun

Actually this was to be one of demonstrations for our clubs this month, but since we had to cancel, I decided to do a video and share this creative project.  I did these a number of years ago and found them back on my blog and decided to share again!

These are wonderful gift card holders!

Here's the one I would have done in class

So you have two pockets to put tags and/or gift cards in!!

Just made out of one piece of designer series paper

This one uses the upcoming Ornate Garden Suite of Products which will be in the new Annual Catalog coming in June, but is being released on April 1st.

Reverse Image Stamping using the Stamparatus continued

For this next card I didn't cut out the raccoons, but just stamped them both

I stamped the "right" facing raccoon and them stamped him again on the silicone sheet

I then laid down my card stock where I wanted him to be (face side down) and stamped again - gently tapping, so as not to smear the ink

The sentiment says "This balloon is special"

and inside "It's filled with Heal-ium!)

Cute, cute!!

Reverse Image Stamping - Special Someone

If you haven't checked out the Special Someone Stamp Set in the January-June Mini Catalog, you must do so.

The little animals are SO stinkin' cute!!

I shared how to do a reverse image, so the animals are facing each other

Here's the card I shared

The raccoons are facing each other and you there are two different stamps

I used the Stamparatus

You stamp the one just normally - then cut him out using the coordinating Special Days Dies 

These dies are available while supplies last or March 31st, so get them before they are gone!!

For the 2nd raccoon, I stamped him on a Silicone Sheet again using the Stamparatus

Yes you can stamp directly on the Silicone Sheet - it just wipes right off

Next place your card stock over this and stamp again 

And because we are using the Stamparatus, it will be in exactly the same/right place

You will note when you pick up your paper, you have a raccoon on each side

Cut him out using the coordinating die

Here he is after cutting him out

And turn him over - you have your "reverse" image!!!!

Is that cool or what????

For the "right facing raccoon, I "colored" him using the coordinating stamp and Crumb Cake Ink

For his partner, I colored him with the Crumb Cake Light Blends
