I wanted to share a few cards from our retreat - mostly because some of the stamps are retiring and I sure don't want you to miss out!!

At our retreat I have a "kit of the day."  So each attendee gets to make a card or project each day - all included in the cost of the retreat!

Always fun to come up with new ideas.

I feel so bad that I haven't been posting much of late, but April and May have been super busy.

OnStage was the first part of April and then I had my retreat the last weekend in April

I had planned for May to be slow, so I could get caught up - well, here it is the 29th and I'm still behind

Check out that great ribbon - I have actually had people ask me what kind of ribbon I used - and it's a STAMP!

I used the spray to make the background and then used it again on the front of the card!!

June Stamp of the Month Kit - NEW PRODUCTS Good Morning Magnolia

Wonder what the Stamp of the Month Kit is?  If you have ever purchased stamps and accessories and then didn’t know what to do with them when you received them, I have the solution.  You purchase the kit (at a discount), and I will send you the products and three projects to do up immediately.  The kit includes the stamp set and whatever else I choose in making the card kits.  I don’t include adhesives, ink and stamped images (per Stampin' Up rules), and you can substitute what you have.  These projects are fun and easy to do.  I will send you a pdf file by email with the instructions and pictures for each project and the actual product to make three projects will be included in your kit!

Sneak Peak at new Specialty Designer Series Paper

I had a little time at our recent retreat and made a couple cards with some new Designer Series Paper

I used the Mosaic Mood Designer Series Paper which we received at OnStage

Oh, you are going to SO love this paper.

I have been seeing some interesting cards called "floating frames"

I didn't have the supplies with me to do that technique, but I did a little spin-off

Isn't that just really cool?

I cut the designer series paper 5 1/2" x 4" and then cut out the center using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (I used the 4th from the largest frame)

I then raised up the frame from the Whisper White Thick Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals

I fussy cut the hummingbirds and popped them up

Then........I used the rectangle I cut out to make another card

I think I'll be doing a LOT of these cards - two for one!!
