Countdown 'til Christmas Day 4

The cards I'm sharing today are swaps I received at our recent Stampin' Up On Stage event in November

Hopefully you will get some inspiration for YOUR holiday cards if they are done yet

I'll try to share the measurements and a quick list of ingredients

Measurements

Very Vanilla Thick Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4"

Merry Merlot 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" Embossed with the Tufted Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

She used Copper Foil Sheets for the Deer and snowflakes and these were cut from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies

 

Cherry Cobbler Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Mossy Meadow  4 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Very Vanilla Scallop Oval

Trees from Rooted in Nature stamped in Mossy Meadow and cut with the Nature's Roots Framelits Dies

Here's another beautiful card using the In the Woods Framelits Dies

Isn't that tree SO cool?  

On this card the creator cut out just the smaller tree - it has "cut outs" that you can actually pop up, but she chose not to and added some tweaks of Gold Shimmer Paint!  Beautiful

Measurements

Shaded Spruce Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2

Basic Black 5 1/4" x 4"

Basic Gray 5" x 3 3/4" - Embossed with Woodland Embossing Folder

Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper 4" x 2 3/4"

Gold Glimmer Strip  4 3/4" x 3/4"

Cherry Cobbler 3 3/8" x 2 7/8"

Whisper White 3 1/4" x 2 3/4"

Tree is cut in Shaded Spruce

Spirited Snowmen

Measurements

Whisper White Thick Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Highland Heather 5 1/4" x 4" Embossed with Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Layering Ovals for the Snowman and sentiment

This one is colored in Highland Heather and Night of Navy Blends 

And she added some Wink of Stella to the snowman!  Can't see it in the picture!

Countdown 'til Christmas Day 5

This is such a stunning card and SO quick and easy to make

I used the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies for this

Whisper White Thick Card Base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2

Gold Foil Sheets 5 1/8" x 3 7/8

Whisper White 5" x 3 3/4"

I cut out the swatch and poinsettia on the Whisper White piece

Adhered it to the Gold Foil sheets and then to card  base

The sentiment is stamped with VersaMark and then embossed with gold embossing powder

SO quick and easy and just plain awesome!!

WHAT?  Just a week 'til Christmas?

Yes that's right!

Don't you just LOVE the little Spirited Snowmen?

Here's another Gift Card Holder and combination "Joy Fold" card

This was also a swap, but I can't find the creator!!

Measurements

Night of Navy Card Base 11" x 4 1/4"

Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4" 2 pieces for inside and front

Whisper White for flap/gift card holder 7" x 3 3/4" scored at 1" and 3 3/4"  The 1" flap will go under the Whisper White on the inside of the card and then folds over the front - The score line at 3 3/4" is for the gift card - fold it back and adhere just the bottom and top

The Whisper White for the front of the card is run through the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

After adhering the gift card piece to the inside then close the card the flip that over the front

Clear as mud?  Ask if you have ANY questions

Countdown 'til Christmas Day 8

Here's a gorgeous card I made recently

Diagonal Fold Card

and here it is open - not too easy to take a photo of!!

I just LOVE the uniqueness of this fold!

To make it, you take a piece of 11" x 8 1/2" card stock and score at 5 1/2" on the long side and 4 1/4" on the short side.  Cut from the top left to the bottom right

That's it!!  You now can make two cards out of one sheet of card stock!  Easy peasy!

Measurements

Cherry Cobbler Card Base half of a 11" x 8 1/2" piece of card stock

Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4"

All is Bright Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4" cut in half diagonally - this is for the front of the card

I made the poinsettia using the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies 

Cut the base of the flower in Whisper White and then the flower using Gold Glimmer Paper

Counting down 'til Christmas - Day 11

Here is another beautiful swap I received shared by Mary L

It's a Gift Card Holder with a real pop!!

This would do for that very special someone on your list

I will show you the one Mary did and then one that I made up

I shared these with my club members in November

There are lots of pictures because you need to get a "feel" for this spectacular project!!

Front - fits into a regular envelope

Opened up

Left side top

Where the Gift Card fits

And guess what??? It just takes one piece of 11" x 8 1/2" card stock!! 

Amazing

Here are the measurements

Card Base - 11" x 8 1/2"  Scored at 4 1/4" on the short side and then at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4" on the long side

All is Bright Designer Series Paper (or your choice) 7 pieces 4" x 2 1/2" and 1 piece 4" x 2"

Whisper White 2 pieces 5 1/4" x 4" for inside top and bottom; 3 3/4" x 3" (for front sentiment); small pieces for stamping sentiments

Cherry Cobbler 5 1/4" x 4"; small pieces for cutting out frames

Gold Glimmer Paper 4" x 3 1/4"

Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Sparkle Glimmer Paper - small pieces for punching sprigs

Assemble your card

After you have added the designer series paper to the top right and bottom left flaps, use a 1 1/4" circle punch and punch out a hole

Cut out 4 "frames" in Cherry Cobbler Card stock using the Layering Circles Framelits

Add these to the 1 1/4" circle 

Stamp your sentiment on Whisper White and punch out with the 1 1/4" circle punch.  

Punch out a Cherry Cobbler circle with the 1 1/2" circle punch

Adhere to the top and bottom so they "peek" through the windows

Using a 1" circle punch, punch a half circle on the designer series paper that will be for your gift card

Adhere this piece on three sides and slip your gift card in

Just 12 Days 'til Christmas

Can you believe it? Just 12 days 'til Christmas

November was crazy busy and I've spent the first part of December doing catch up

I want to share some fun cards over the next few days - maybe I'll call it

12 Days of Christmas

First I'll start with a quick and easy gift card holder

You can't have enough of these around and I LOVE this one

It was a swap I received at the November Stampn' Up On Stage Event 

and was shared by Mary L

You will start with a piece of Designer Series Paper that measures 12" x 5 1/2"

Score at 4" and 8"

On the right 1/3, cut at a diagonal from the score line to  1 1/2" from the bottom

Here's a picture of the inside so you can see what I'm talking about

Fold that 1/3 rd in and adhere on the bottom and side

Decorate and you are ready to put the Gift Card in and gift it!!
