Do you remember Mother of Pearl?
Do you know where it comes from?
Mother-of-pearl is the hard, iridescent substance on the inside of some shells and is used to make buttons and some jewelry
It's definitely something that you recognize
Here is a card that we made at our club meetings this last week using the "Faux Mother of Pearl" technique
Can you see the "texture" and luminescence behind the stamps on the Whisper White piece?
This close up picture maybe will help a little to see the beautiful background!
Technique
To make this unique background, you will take some Frost White Shimmer Paint - place a small dot (doesn't take very much) on a silicone craft sheet. Using a wadded up piece of plastic wrap (Saran, Handi wrap, Glad Wrap) daub it in the shimmer paint and then daub it on your paper.
It doesn't take long to dry and then you can stamp over it!
Beautiful background which you must try!
