Fun Folds Class in June

I had a fun folds class in June and the gals loved it

And SO did I

The first project we made was the Never Ending Card

I ended up making two for my sons' birthdays and Sam said - I can never get to the end.....LOL

Today is the DAY!!

Today is the day we head north to Alaska and our Stampin' Up Incentive Trip Cruise on the inside passage.

As you are reading this, we will probably be flying from our little area (central Oregon) to Seattle

We will be met at the airport and transported to the pier to get on the ship

It sails at 4:00 pm and we will NOT miss it!

One of the things we dearly love to do as Stampin' Up Demonstrators is swap cards

And there is an organized swap on the cruise.

You can imagine the quality of swaps I will receive in exchange!

I wanted to share my swap

I'm just LOVING the new purples - Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape and then compliment each other so well

I did quite a bit of "Big Shotting"  on this card, and it was fun

I used the Blends to color the three images!  They are SO easy to do.  

The Blends are alcohol markers and they make it so easy to color!!

NORTH TO ALASKA - Way up north......

Yep we are heading out tomorrow morning for our Stampin' Up Incentive Trip

A Cruise on the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas

on the Alaska Inside Passage

Hostess Gifts for May

I love making hostess gifts

I found some little notebooks on Amazon and even though they were cute, I enjoyed remaking the covers

I made each of my hostesses two of them - one for themselves and one to give as a gift

Of course I used new products from the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up Annual catalog

If you don't have a catalog yet, please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to send you one!

You really do NEED this catalog!  SO many wonderful products and ideas

These little note books were fun to cover

I cut out a pieced of card stock - I didn't write down the measurements (DUMB!)

To make one yourself, add these measurements

Front measurement times 2 plus 1/4" PLUS the width of the spine

So if your notebooks measures 5" x 3"

3" x 2  = 6" plus 1/4" plus 3/8" (which was the spine) 

The heighth is 5" plus 1/4"

So your card stock wold be 6 5/8" x 5 1/4"

Score at 3 1/4" and turn and score again at 3 1/4"

Add a piece of designer series Paper to the front that would measure 4 3/4" x 2 3/4"

I made a little pocket on the left inside by cutting a piece of designer series paper 2 1/2" x 2"

I scored each side at 1/4" and added some Tear & Tape to the sides and bottom and attached

I added a few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, but it would be a great placed to add some stamps!

I covered the little note pad with designer series paper and then adhered it with Tear &Tape to the right inside

Accented Blooms Stampin' Up Stamp Set

I really do love this set and I can see using it a LOT!

I'm having fun playing with my Blends to color these beautiful flowers

I was at our son and daughter-in-laws when I made this card and my six year old granddaughter had such fun making cards.  

Brooklyn copied my card and did a fantastic job!

Accented Blooms Stamp Set

The Accented Blooms Stamp Set that is new in the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog is one of my favorites

It's SO easy to use and so practical for any occasions

PLUS it works with the Tailored Tag Punch which was carried over in the Annual Catalog from the 2018 Occasions Catalog

I love how this turned out!

I stamped, colored and then fussy cut the flowers out and popped them up on my cardfront
