Double Triangle Fun Fold Card

I have to say my club members keep me hopping to find new and interesting cards and techniques to share!

And I LOVE it because it's a wonderful challenge.

While at On Stage in April, a fellow demonstrator swapped for this great fun fold card

So when I got home I went searching for this technique

It's called the Double Triangle Fun Fold card and it's SO fun and easy

At first I thought it would take one piece of card stock per card, but NO, you can still get two cards out of one piece of card stock!  

I used the beautiful brand new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper

Can you see the beautiful pearlized flowers?  Oh MY!

Isn't that unique?

I absolutely LOVE this card and this fun fold!

You start with a piece of 11" x 8 1/2" card stock

Score down the center on the 8 1/2" side at the top of your trimmer at 4 1/4" 

Turn on the 11" side and score at 5 1/2" 

Line up two opposite ends on your trimmer and cut diagonally

You now have two card bases

Fold each triangle into the center

All that's left is to decorate

Cut a piece of designer series paper 5 1/4" x 4" and cut diagonally

Adhere to the front

I used the sentiments from the Love What You Do Stamp Set (available as a pre-release through May 31st)

I stamped that on a piece of Whisper White Card stock and punched with a 2 1/4" punch

I added a Pearlized Doily and then mounted both on a piece of Mint Maracon cut with the Layering Circles Framelits

I adhere this to the front of the card with dimensionals (remembering to add only to one side!!)

I added a piece of leftover designer series paper to inside along with the Thank You!)

Measurements

Card Base 11" x 8 1/2" cut in half diagonally

Share What You Love Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4" cut in half diagonally

Whisper White for inside 5 1/4" x 4"

Share What You Love Designer Series Paper strip 4" x 1"
