We had such lovely weather last week - then it turned to single digits this week!

So no daffodils here for at least another month

So I decided I needed some

The You're Inspiring Stamp Set in the 2018 Occasions Catalog is perfect!!

I color the leaves with the Old Olive Light Stampin' Blends - also the daffodil leaves

I used the Daffodil Delight Dark Stampin' Blends to color the flowers!

I had to use the largest Layering Oval Framelit for the flower, so I cut out the "frame" in Garden Green by hand

Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper

Yes, I DO love this Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper

As a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I was able to pre-order it and this week was able to play with it

It's embossed, so works SO well with any technique you want to use!! 

Color it with the Stampin' Blends, sponge it for a great Emboss Resist Technique

SO many possibilities

Here's a card I made using the flower paper.  It' copper embossed

I actually fussy cut the flower, colored it and popped it up with a dimensional (saw this idea on Pinterest)

How did I get this look?  I used a sponge brayer and sponged Berry Burst ink!  

Isn't that fantastic - you could use any ink - think of all the beautiful possibilities

Quick, simple card, but just love how it turned out!!

I added some Crumb Cake ink to the front of the folder with a Sponge Brayer - ran it through - what a NEAT effect

See the ribbon?  I colored it using the Pumpkin Pie Dark Stampin' Blends - it started out as the Gold Metallic-Edged Ribbon!!

I saw this idea on Pinterest shared by Kim Williams

I changed it a bit and we did them in our clubs this month!

Everyone fell in LOVE with the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper

It's card stock thickness and one side has the beautiful gold accents

The opposite sides coordinate SO well!!

We added dimensionals to pop out the valentine!!
