I had fun making these Valentine Treat Holders - I believe I made about 45 of them in one evening!!
For family and for my club members!
They hold a nice little amount of Valentine candies!!
Here's a little picture tuturial
Please feel free to email if you have any questions
I used the Envelope Punch Board - gleaned this idea from another demonstrator and for the life of me I can't remember who, but thanks for the inspiration.
You will need a piece of card stock or designer series paper cut 6" x 6"
Place the paper in the envelope punch board with the left side at the 1 1/2" mark.
Punch and score
Move the paper to the 4" line and again punch and score
You now have two score lines
Turn the paper 45 degrees and line up the score line on the score guide and punch and score
You can see the little "flange" in the picture below - that's the score guide
Do that with both score lines
Punch and score
And now do that on all sides and you now have your score lines
Now insert each corner in the corner rounder at the top of the envelope punch board
Burnish all score lines
Once you have them all burnished well, you will now do some cutting
Notice that you have four "triangles" - two are small and two are large
You will cut on the LARGER triangles
Cut up to the first score line on either side of the larger triangle
Turn the box to the outside and add Tear & Tape or use Fast Fuse (you want a good, sturdy adhesive)
on the two corners as shown in the picture
Turn on the inside and add Fast Fuse (or Tear & Tape) to the end flap
Fold up the two flaps into the inside and adhere
And now your box is assembled
Add candy and embellish and it's a GO!!
I used the beautiful Bloomin' Love Stamp Set!
