You might be wondering what happened to me and have you have every right to wonder, so I thought I would up date you
On September 28th I was admitted to the Prineville hospital with acute pancreatitis caused by gall stones. I was there 7 ½ days and then home for two weeks waiting to have my gall bladder removed. The night before my apt with the surgeon I had another acute attack – Sam took me to the Redmond hospital and I was there for seven days before they transferred me to Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. I was there for 9 days and during that stay they removed my gall bladder and put me on tube feedings.
I was released on November 2nd and came to Salem to be with Trevor and Heidi – closer to my dr and Heidi can handle the tube feedings. The tube feedings are because I developed cysts from the pancreas
I go back to my doctor on Monday the 13th and will know then what they can do for the cysts – drain them or do a procedure where they will drain into the abdomen.
So it’s been a long haul and can see the end of the tunnel and am so looking forward to getting back in my normal routine!
During this time my husband and kids were such a support – every night I was in the hospital one of them was there by my side!!
