Welcome to the Thailand Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop for October. This is our first hop with those that have earned the prestige trip with Stampin' Up!® to Thailand next July. This month our theme is the "Inspired by Nature" as many of us live in different areas around the world and have amazing seasons that we are enjoying. Plus the nature in Thailand is just incredible so we are inspired by our trip too.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jan Farring or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jan Farring
Have you seen the beautiful Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack in the Annual Catalog (page 174) You MUST check it out! These "nature" scenes are just beautiful. I decided to use these papers and make quick, simple cards. There are 12 different double sided sheets and 4 of each! Using the entire paper stack, you could easily make 96 cards by just adding some card stock bases and some sentiments!
For each different piece of designer paper, I used coordinating card stock for the base and a layer and then cut the designer paper at 5" x 3 3/4". I made the first 12 cards. But then I ended up with a 6" x 2 1/4" piece left over - awwwwww - what to do with that. So I used either Whisper White or Very Vanilla card base and added the leftover piece cut to 5 1/2" x 2 1/4" - and some coordinating card stock for the backing and made 12 more cards. I just a short time I had 24 cards!!! I was very pleased with the results.
I stamped some sentiments and used the Sunshine Wishes Framelits to add sentiments.
Talk about quick and easy and perfect for those occasions when you need a quick card!! They are FLAT and mail very easily.
Here are the 12 sets I made up close and personal!
I hope this will inspire you to make some quick cards - they make wonderful gifts and since these are so very "nature" they make perfect masculine cards!!
Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Jan Farring, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list.
