Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for August. This month our theme is the Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek. We are so excited to be able to show you these amazing BRAND NEW products that you will be able to purchase September 1st 2016.
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Jan Farring or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Jan Farring.
Since we are having a HEAT WAVE, it's not so easy to think winter, holidays and COLD! Not that it won't be nice coming, but with temperatures in the 90's PLUS every day for the last two weeks. Whew!!!!
But, I just have to say I LOVE the Holiday Catalog 2016 - so many wonderful products and the Cookie Cutter Christmas and Halloween sets and coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, just leapt off the page at me!!
So.....with that in mind I made this cute little gingerbread man!
Isn't he just the cutest little guy?
And SO easy to make - just stamp and punch him out!!
But.....did you see more new products?
Check out the background. Isn't that Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder just TO DIE for?
Here's a closeup of how it looks right off the "press"
Since it's such a NEW product and one like we have never had before, I thought I would share the sandwich for your Big Shot
From the bottom up.....
Big Shot Platform
Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with card stock inside
Standard Cutting Plate
Do you see the difference? You don't need an extra cutting plate under the embossing folder because it's REALLY thick! It's makes the BEST 3D impression!
And I also used the brand new for this season Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder - that is definitely going to be a favorite!! Adds beautiful bling to any creation!
And one more tip - can you see the "flags" on the end of the sentiment banner? I used the Best Badge Punch to make those! Just something a little fun and different - just insert the end of your banner into the top of the punch and you have a fun, slightly curved flag
I hope you enjoyed this little card!

Cute card Jan and such a clever idea using the best badge punch to create the flags.
