March Stamp of the Month Kit - Party Wishes!!

Where did February go?  I can't believe it's already the end of the month (almost!!).  Well, I guess when you are away for a full week, it does tend to pass quickly!  We had a great time in Alaska - it really wasn't that cold - we did see 4 below, but just momentarily!!  And we SURE enjoyed Cheena Hot Springs - was something else in that kind of weather!!

Wonder what the Stamp of the Month Kit is?  If you have ever purchased stamp and accessories and then didn’t know what to do with them when you received them, I have the solution.  You purchase the kit (at a discount), and I will send you the kit and three projects to do up immediately.  The kit includes the stamp set and whatever else I choose in making the card kits.  I don’t include adhesives, ink and stamped images (per Stampin' Up rules), and you can substitute what you have.  These projects are fun and easy to do.  I will send you a pdf file by email with the instructions and pictures for each project and the actual product to make three projects will be included in your kit!  Plus I will include additional samples that you can use to create even more cards and projects!!

January Stamp Club Hostess Gifts

I love making handmade gifts for my hostesses and this month I decided to showcase the beautiful Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper that was introduced in the 2016 Occasions Catalog.  This paper is just luscious!  I wanted to show my gals how to make quick and easy cards and all different by just changing the designer series paper!

Rose Wonder Thank You with Vellum

I LOVE to use Vellum on cards.  It makes such a soft look!  I used the Botanical Gardens er Vellum Stack from the 2016 Sale-A-Bration Catalog for this beautiful card.  And, of course, the Blushing Bride Glimmer paper is to die for!!

Can you see the designer vellum?  It's not REAL clear, but that's the idea!!

Measurements

Blushing Bride Card Base 11" x 4 1/4"

Layer 2 Whisper White 5 1/4" x 4"

Layer 3 Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack 5 1/4" x 4"

I lined up the above two pieces and punched them together, but didn't adhere them.  I cut out the rose/leaves with the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies and then adhered it to the vellum with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  Then I turned it over and colored with my Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers.  LOVE the softness!!

Double Dutch Fold Wedding Card - Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper

I'm sure there will be weddings coming up this summer (!!!), so I had to make this card.  Yes, I'm in love with the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper and need to use it lots more before it goes away when the new catalog comes out!  

I hope you have enjoyed these Double Dutch Fold cards - I'm always looking for new and different cards rather than the same old portrait and landscape cards!

Another Double Dutch Fold Card - A Nice Cuppa!

I had such fun making this card.  I saw the idea for stamping the front on Pinterest - I think it was Bruno Bertucci's card that I saw first.  I had a "brain drain" and couldn't figure out how he made the "white" tea cups.  Then, duh!!  Embossing!!
