I made up a dozen more of these darling gift boxes using the Full Wide Stamp Cases (#127551, page 176 in the annual catalog).  They are SO fun to make and hold enough for a substantial gift!!  I added a Jr. Legal Pad, a pen, a kleenex pack, some candy (chocolate of course), and some crackers just in case the day was long and they needed some sustenance!!

Yes that is exactly right.  Stampin' Up just posted the retiring list of stamps and accessories for the 2015 Holiday Catalog

Vellum Luminaries

Do you like to dress up your home during the holidays?  I made these wonderful little luminaries which would add a wonderful touch for holiday decorating.  They use the tea lights, so are completely safe even around little ones!

I saw these on Pinterest and just had to make some!  They were really quick and easy and I LOVE how they turned out.  I found these on Sage Kimble's blog!

There are three sizes - which measure 4 1/2", 3 1/2" and 2 1/2" tall

Cut three pieces of Card Stock Vellum - all three are made the same

6 1/2" x 8 1/2"

5 1/2" x 8 1/2" 

4 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Each one is scored at 2", 4", 6" and 8"

Then turn your card stock and score at 2"

Snip up to the 2" score line on all "flaps"

Cut off the excess on the 1/2" tab (up to the 2" score line)

Punch top edge with Confetti Stars Border Punch

Rub embossing buddy over the piece and stamp snow flakes in VersaMark and then heat emboss with white embossing powder

Assemble box by adding Tear & Tape to tab and folding on score lines.  Fold up all 4 bottom flaps using Tear & Tape to hold together

I added the 1/8" Silver Ribbon by cutting the Tear & Tape in half and adhering around the piece just below the Confetti Stars Border

Add a tea light and you have a wonderful gift or decor for your own home!

Sleigh Ride Edgelits

The Sleigh Ride Edgelits that are brand new in the 2015 Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog are SO fun - they really are not hard to use and add such a beautiful touch!!

I have to say this card is just gorgeous!  I added a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the white and it really does shine!!

Festive Flower Builder Punch

I just had to make another one of the beautiful poinsettias - at my downline's Christmas Card party, she made one of these and I just fell IN LOVE!  Stunning!

Reason for the Season and Festive Flower Builder Punch

For some odd reason the "Festive Flower Builder Punch" intimidated me.  Yep it really did.  I was hesitant to use it, but just had to dive in and try some.  I went to one of my downline's Christmas card class and they did some beautiful ones, so it gave me courage {BIG GRIN!!}

So I showed the ladies at the club meeting how to make this card!

I'm NO longer intimidated and these are really quite simple to make.  Just a bit of stamping (not even really necessary) and punching.  Then add some tombow glue to the mix and you have beautiful flowers.  And you DON'T have to make them for Christmas cards.  Change up the colors and WOW - you have beautiful flowers all year long!

Here is a video that Stampin' Up put out to show how to make these wonderful flowers.

WOW card in Red and White

I saw this card posted first on Pinterest and then followed it to Debbie Henderson's blog.  Isn't it just gorgeous?  I LOVE the red and white and it really sparkles with just a hint of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper!!

It was FUN to make and love how it turned out!
