I first saw this idea shared by Cindee Wilkinson - she made these up for gifts for the Stampin' Up Convention. I just HAD to share this idea with my club members and they had SO much fun making them. They are easy, quick and hold LOTS of "stuff". Perfect for gift giving at this time of year. We covered Jr. Legal Sized pads for the inside to match the designer series paper.
Isn't that just the cutest?
And inside is the Jr. Legal Pad
You can get white Jr. Legal Pads on Amazon - I used my Carl Cutter and cut off 1 1/2" from the bottom so they fit into the box. We added a piece of coordinating designer series paper to the top to dress it up - that piece is cut 2" x 5"
The handles are from Home Depot - just plain kitchen cupboard handles
My hubby used a hand drill and drilled two holes in the back of the box.
The designer series paper is cut 11 1/4" x 7" and fitted on the outside of the box - between the plastic covering and the box!
Dress them up anyway you like and you have a great gift box!
Here's another one
and the matching Jr. Legal Pad
