July Stamp of the Month Kit

So many new things in the catalog to choose from - I tell you it's rough trying to decide which products to use for the Stamp of the Month.  

Wonder what the Stamp of the Month Kit is?  If you have ever purchased stamp and accessories and then didn’t know what to do with them when you received them, I have the solution.  You purchase the kit (at a discount), and I will send you the kit and three projects to do up immediately.  The kit includes the stamp set and whatever else I choose in making the card kits.  I don’t include adhesives, ink and stamped images (per Stampin' Up rules), and you can substitute what you have.  These projects are fun and easy to do.  I will send you a pdf file by email with the instructions and pictures for each project and the actual product to make three projects will be included in your kit!  Plus I will include additional samples that you can use to create even more cards and projects!!

Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper Card Set

I've seen a number of cards made using the brand new Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper and love them all.  This paper is SO vintage and beautiful!  

Karen H., my good friend and downline, sent me a beautiful card I shared here and she sponged the flowers - so.....I just had to try this and I'm SO happy with the way they turned out.

These cards and Bag in a Box purse are the hostess gifts for my clubs this month.  What a fun gift to give!  I would call it Vintage Chic!!

I made six cards using ONE piece of the Timeless Elegance DSP.  Of course I used the one with all the roses.  I cut it into six pieces 5 1/4" x 4".  I then sponged each piece using different colors and coordinated the card base with the colors I used for sponging.  

And then I made the purse!  You can find instructions for this purse here.

I did change the measurements just a wee bit - made the "box" a bit narrower

The measurements for the box are 7" x 2".  Cut a piece of card stock 9" x 4" and follow the directions in the tutorial

The DSP for the box are the same 10" x 6"

I decreased the size of the Basic Black bottom and top pieces to 3/4" 

The handles are 11" x 3/4" and I added some DSP cut 11" x 1/2" to the handles

I added some Basic Rhinestones to the Candy Dot Brad Bases for the handles - just a little bling!!

The cards bases are 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"  

2nd layer is Basic Black cut 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"

DSP Layer is 5 1/4" x 4"

I sponged the flowers ( you don't have to be really precise - you CAN go out of the lines!!)

Then added a sentiment!

Really a simple, but VERY elegant set of cards!!

Sheltering Tree Thank you!

I received this beautiful card in the mail recently from Peggy and I just had to share it with you!!  Don't you just LOVE the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set?   It's SO versatile.  You can find it in the catalog on page 89 and if you haven't purchased it yet, you really need to!!  

Isn't the shadow really cool?  I LOVE LOVE how she did that.  She sponged with Soft Suede for the ground and then stamped the shadow of the tree - so clever.  Another neat touch is the white gel pen on the left of the tree trunk to give it depth!!  Really nice card.  Thanks Peggy

Peggy paired this with the photopolymer stamp set Banner Blessings.  This stamp set was a special issue and is only available while supplies last.

 Believe it or not, I don't have this set - ummmm - can we say Peggy is an "enabler"?  Going to have to get this set before it's gone!

English Garden Designer Series Paper Bag in a Box Card Set

I made this card set as a door prize for my Women's Fair.  Needless to say it was appreciated!  LOVE this English Garden Designer Paper.  Not only did they get the Bag in a Box, but it held six cards using this DSP!!

The set of cards

This was a very simple set of cards to make.  I cut the card base to match each piece - then cut the first layer at 5 1/4" x 4" and then cut that piece at 3 1/2" on the 5 1/4" - I turned the piece over so it shows both sides - added some card stock across the "seam" and a sentiment!!

I'll share the cards so you can see them up close

Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper

This paper is just luscious - I'm NOT joking - you will love every piece of it.  Have you ever bought paper and then just ran your hand over it, it's so beautiful!  This is DEFINITELY one of those!

I received the most lovely thank you note from Karen H. and she did a beautiful job on this card.  WOW is all I can say!!

Purse Party Favor
