These are the hostess gifts I made for February - have you noticed the Artisan Embellishment Kit on page 27 of the 2015 Occasions Catalog? I wasn't sure about it at first, but when I finally ordered it, I fell in LOVE with it. I used one kit for these 4 cards - and still have lots left over. Can you see the pretty die cuts? I made two cards by sponging the backside of the die cut - then used the die cut on two different cards!! Making full use of it!!
Here's a look at the kit

Just so you know, here's what actually comes in the kit
2 die-cut, double-sided Sahara Sand/white 3" x 4" cards
18" Blushing Bride Rosette Trim
1 yard Rose Red Lace
1 yard Blackberry Bliss thin velvet trim
4 White Dollies
12 adhesive pearls
1 large metal flower button
2 small metal buttons
2 clear buttons
2 blushing bride resin flowers
1 white resin flower
With all these products you can make LOTS of cards!!
Here is the set I made

And here's each card

Measurements
Sahara Sand Card Base 11" x 5 1/4"
2nd Layer is the die cut - and I cut a piece of Blushing Bride Card Stock and attached it to the back
2 7/8" x 3 7/8"

Measurements
Rose Red Card Base 11" x 4 1/4"
2nd Layer Very Vanilla 5" x 3 3/4"
I sponged the backside of the die cut on the Very Vanilla - LOVE the look

Crumb Cake card base 11" x 4 1/4"
2nd Layer Early Espresso 5 1/4" x 4"
3rd layer - Die Cut and Very Vanilla 3 3/4" x 1 1/4"

I cased this card from Brian King!! LOVE it's simplicity
Again I sponged the die cut with Island Indigo on Whisper White
Measurements
Card Base Island Indigo 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
2nd Layer Pool Party 5 1/4" x 4"
3rd Layer Island Indigo 3 1/8" x 4 1/8"
4th Layer Whisper White 2 7/8" x 3 7/8"
For the card case I used the plastic framelits packages
I store my framelits in the Art Bin containers and I just couldn't throw out the plastic containers the framelits originally come in, but I'm getting quite a collection!! So I figured why not? Use them for card sets!!

Here's what the plastic container looks like
And here is what I did with it

I covered both front and back so the printing didn't show.
I used Early Espresso Card Stock and Park Lane Designer Series Paper.
The back measures 5 1/4" x 6 1/2" so that is the size I cut for the Early Espresso. The DSP is cut 5" x 6 1/4"
I just measured the lid and the bottom for the front and cut to fit
I then added a belly band
12" x 1 1/2" for Early Espresso and 12" x 1 1/4" for the DSP
I added a Tea Lace Doily from the Artisan Embellishment Kit.
I made a flower from our White Filter Paper by cutting out 8 layers with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. I put a tiny brad through all the layers and then just scrunched them up. I added one of the Blushing Bride Rosette Trim flowers to the center.

4 cards and envelopes fit easily into the card holder!
Here are the products I used for this project. Let me know if you have any questions - email or leave me a comment on the blog
