Festival of Trees, Washi Tape and Confetti Stars Punch

This card is a combination of a lot of different products and techniques.  LOVE the new Confetti Stars Border Punch, but hadn't even used it until this card!  And Washi Tape - when it first was introduced, I wasn't too impressed, but I'm LOVING it now!

See the three trees - the center one I used All is Calm Washi Tape - just put a few pieces on a small piece of Whisper White and punched it out with the Tree Punch!

Yummy Gold CAS (Clean and Simple) Card

I just love how this card turned out - it's SO clean and simple (excuse the finger print - sorry I was in a hurry!!)

That Filigree Embossing Folder was just perfect!!

The interesting thing about when I stamped the tree, I didn't press down hard in the middle (for some reason - not intentionally!!) and the center trunk came out a lighter "gold".  Really is neat!  You really can't see it in the picture, but I LOVED it!  Probably couldn't get that same effect another time!!

Letterpress Winter Card

I needed a card that wasn't specifically holiday, but would do for a gift for a special someone!  LOVE the Letterpress Winter Stamp Set and so I ended up using it!  I saw this idea online and changed it a bit for my needs

This is definitely more stunning in real life, but you can see it's a beautiful card with lots of BLING!!

We cut out three trees with the tree punch on the 5 1/2" x 3" Pool Party card stock - added the All is Calm DSP behind and then added some rhinestones.  Then we stamped two more trees, punched them out and added them to the front with dimensionals!  Lots of neat detail!

Window Wreath Card

I hope to share a bunch of Christmas/Holiday cards over the next few days.  I've been making quite a few, but not always getting them posted!!

Don't you love the look of the window with the "snow" in the background. The All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Ppaer has this design and it's SO cool!

I used the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and the coordinating Wonderful Wreath Framelits for this card - this is SUCH a great set - you stamp it three different times in three colors and it turns out SO realistic.  And NO fussy cutting with the coordinating Framelits!!

To make the window, I cut a piece of Whisper White 2 1/2" square.  I then used my 1" square punch and punch out all 4 corners!

Wondrous Wreath Peek-A-Boo Card

I saw this idea on line and just had to try it!!  The Wondrous Wreath set is a lovely set and I fully recommend it!  The coordinating framelits come with the words "Joy" and "Noel" and these are great!

Can you see the sentiment peeking through? 

I cut off the bottom at 1 1/4" and then again leaving 1 1/2" at the top

The strips of paper are Top 5 1/4" x 1 1/4"

Bottom 5 1/4" x 1"

I then stamped the wreath and cut it out with the framelits.  I attached the top and bottom with dimensionals.

The "Joy" is cut out with the Gold Foil Paper

TIP:  When you cut out these small thinlits, I suggest using our Transfer Sheets (133722) - they attached so easily!

Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies

I wanted to share a couple more of the Gift Card Envelopes

These are fun and quick and easy and that's what we are all looking for these days!

On this one I added the snowflake to the opening and used some Tombow Multipurpose Glue to seal it.  Did you know that if you add the above glue and leave it open to dry, it dries tacky and it can be opened without ruining the packaging!  Neat, eh?

In case you are wondering how I cut the large snowflake, I thought I would share the Stampin' Up Video on how to do this with the Snowflake Thinlit Dies.  It doesn't come with a separate die for this size snowflake, but you CAN cut one out!

Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies

Whew!!  What a mouthful - I can't remember the name of this die, so I just say Gift Card Envelope and I give you permission to do that too!

Did you pass up this little goody in the 2014 Holiday Catalog?  I did at first, then I saw some great samples, so just had to get it.  Who knows - this might be the year of gift cards!  Older children/grandchildren appreciate them more and more, so I ended up purchasing it and really do love it for a quick gift wrap idea!

I shared these with my club members this past month and they were pretty impressed!  They are quick and easy and really useful!

Here are a few I made

The really nice thing about this thinlit set, is that it comes with everything you need to make a quick gift card enclosure (except the gift card!!)

The finished measurements are 4" x 2 3/4"

You just cut out the gift card and then either some hearts or circles - add a brad to the center and some baker's twine and you have a quick closure.  There are also two thinlits for cutting out the greetings!

SO simple and easy

You start with a piece of card stock that is 7" x 6 1/4"
