I saw these darling little Chicks - I first saw them on Laura's blog and she shared the original idea from Sandy M. These are SO cute and easy to make - I shared them at my last class and the ladies loved them!!
If you're looking for an Easter treat holder, these are quick and easy!!
Start with a piece of Daffodil Delight card Stock measuring 7 1/2" x 2". Score at 3" and 4 1/2"
Next run both ends through the Tag Topper Punch
The next piece of card stock in Daffodil Delight will be cut 2 1/2" x 3" and score on all 4 sides at 1/4" and 1/2"
Cut out all 4 corners to the scoring lines.....
Add sticky tape to the 4 sides on top
Turn over and draw an "X"
With a 3/4" punch, make a circle in the center (where your 'egg" will sit)
Turn it over and fold on the score lines. Take off the red tape and adhere to the center of the Topper
Punch out a Modern Label punch and cut in half for the "wings". Adhere with glue dots
Punch another Modern Label in Pumpkin Pie and cut down by using the Small Oval Punch (or circle). Adhere his little web feet to the front
Using the Ticket Duo Punch, punch the littliest one and score in thirds. Attach below the google eyes at the center and then cut off each side to make the beak!
I added some Daffodil Delight 3/4" Crushed Curry Ribbon through the topper holes and tied the ends together with Gold Baker's Twine
