Who: You!

What: This is a live, streaming event where we will stamp with the All Wrapped Up Bundle on page 6 of the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

When: March 26, 2014, at 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 11:00 PM (all times MT). We'll demonstrate the same projects each time, so choose the one that's best for you.

Where: You don't even have to leave home. Come to www.youtube.com/stampinupvideo at your chosen time, and be prepared to stamp! We'll also award door prizes to random participants.

Why: So many occasions are coming--Easter, Mother's Day, graduations, and more--and we want to help you be ready.

Starburst Sayings and Retro Fresh Step Card

It's been a while since I made a Side Step card - these are fun and quite easy to make!!.  Just love the Starburst Sayings stamp set from the Occasions Catalog and the coordinating Starburst Framelits.  They are SO HAPPY!!

February Hostess Club Gifts

I always try to share something special for my monthly Stampin' Up Hostesses.  This month I am featuring the Sale-A-Bration products and wanted to share the set of cards and box I made for each of them

The box is a "pizza" box - made with Coastal Cabana Card Stock and using the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper which is free with a $50 purchase!  It's gorgeous - the kind you just want to eat it's so pretty!

The flower on top is made using the new Fringe Scissors (133325, page 31 2014 Occasions Catalog)  and our Creped Filter  Paper (129393 page 156).

I will share how to make these flowers in another post - they are easy and are really cute!  The Creped Filter Paper is, of course, white, so I added some color with an Aqua Painter (103954, page 164)

Floral Frames Birthday Card

So I started out with a St. Patrick's Day card and then decided to change up the colors, since not EVERYONE sends out St. Paddy's cards.  So this is the card we did at the card club this month.  LOVE how it turned out

Stamp Set:   Bring on the Cake (128490 W, 121958 C, page 14)

Card Stock Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper (132994, Occasions Catalog page 23); Brights Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks (130134, page 152)

Ink:  Wisteria Wonder

Embellishment:  Whisper White 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon (109070, page 173)

Big Shot:  Floral Frames Framelits Collection (127012, page 187); Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335, page 191)

So the white that makes the card base is cut with the largest Floral Frame Collection Framelits - you cut a piece of card stock 5 1/2" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and insert in the Big Shot using the Magnetic Platform.  Line up the largest framelit so that the top is just peeking over to make the fold.  Love this technique and you can apply that to most of the framelits to make a card base.

And you can see the card stands up nicely!!
