I love sharing cute and unique ideas with my club members and this month I showed them the "camera" cards using the Envelope Punch Board!!
Isnt' this just the cutest for those who love photography? Kirsteen, a Stampin' UP Demonstrator shared this idea!! I just LOVE it! I changed it a bit to suit my needs, but it's essentially her idea!
I'll share a quick tutorial with measurements, but the supplies first
Stamp: Make Note This and That Rotary Stamp (133370 page 19 Occasions Catalog)
Card Stock: Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Silver Foil Sheet (132178, page 23 Occasions Catalog); Watercolor Wondedr Designer Series Paper (132994, page 23 Occasions Catalog)
Ink: Black Staz-on
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones (119246, page 171); Basic Gray 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (126879, page 173)
Punches: Ticket Duo Buider (126883, page 180), 1" Circle (119868, page 182); 1 1/4" circle (119861, page 182), 1/2" circle (119869, page 182), Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack circle (118309, page 180)
Big Shot: Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (133520 FREE Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 order through March 31st)
Tools: Envelope Punch Board (133774)
Instructions
1. Start by cutting a piece of Smoky Slate Card Stock 4" x 2 3/4". Put piece into the Envelope Punch Board at the 1" mark
2. Punch (do not score); turn paper over and do the same on the other end. Line it up on the 1" mark and punch
3. Line up the end on the Stampin' Trimmer and cut off both ends
4. Using the corner round, round all 4 corners
The rest of the card is pretty self- explanatory. I punched a small Ticket in Smoky Slate and in Basic Black, Added the Smoky Slate to the back on the left side for the Shutter Release. For the "lense", I cut out a 1" circle in Smoky Slate and then "framed" the 1 1/4" circle punch around it. Then cut a 1 1/4" Basic Black circle and put the Smoky Slate frame on top with dimensionals. I also added a piece of Smoky Slate card Stock 4" x 1 1/2" which I ran through the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder to the front. I then cut two 4" x 1/8" pieces of Silver Foil Sheets and added them to the front.
Easy card and SO cute for that photography buff!!
