Yep it will be here before we know it - just last week we were suffering with HOT HOT days - over 90 degrees, and this week it actually feels like fall is in the air. Which is definitely okay with me!!
But......that also gets me thinking about holiday cards, so I've hd fun using lots of products from the Holiday Catalog and I'll be sharing some fun cards over the next few days.
This first one is one I saw on the internet and just had to case. It's a gatefold card, which I absolutely love , but also uses the Framelits to "frame" the beautiful Festive Flurries snow flakes!! These colors are SO beautiful!
The pictures just doesn't do this card justice!! IRL it's just gorgeous. The striped designer series paper from the Winter Frost Designer Series Specialty Paper just shines - there is actually silver running through it and it's absolutely stunning!
The inside of the card is also using the "specialty" paper - a gorgeous silver with a coastal cabana design. And then the snowflake is beautiful. I will add a video at the botto showing you how to make the "3-D" snowflakes - it's one that Stampin' Up shared and I couldn't do a better job!!

This is actually a 6" x 6" card - big because I wanted to showcase the snowflake.
I found a tutorial online on how to cut out the front of the gatefold card and even give it a frame. LOVE it!

For the Snowflake I used Bermuda Bay with the biggest stamp; Silver Encore with the 2nd largest and Coast Cabana for the smallest stamp
