My friend Jo, shared this beautiful dress card - I fell in love with it and have been busy making more...thanks Jo for the inspiration and for sharing
I bet you have already guessed what she used!!! Yep, you are correct - cupcake cups!! I purchased these at my local craft store in the bakery section.
Just absolutely darling! One of my club members said it brought back such fond memories of her mother and square dancing!!
Stamp Set - oops no stamps yet - I'll decide what sentiment when I get ready to send it
Card Stock: Basic Black, Whisper White Real Red
Embellishments: 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon (119261, page 173); Rhinestones (119246, page 171)
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335, page 191); Dress Up Framelits (130101, page 187)
Run the Real Red through the Big Shot in the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Cut out the dressform in Basic Black and the dress in Whisper White
Cut two large cupcake cups in half - one in black with white dots and one in white with black dots. Also cut one of of the small cups - you will need one of each color. Start with the bottom, and layer leaving about 1/4" of each piece showing at the bottom. Adhere the ribbon bow at the waist.
Easy, peasy card.
I will share more in the next few days.....stay tuned for Independence Day Skirts!!
You can place your order online here anytime!!
Thanks Kay - I don't take credit, but just LOVE them - I'll share more tomorrow!!
