Have you seen the beautiful ornament on the front of the Holiday Catalog. It absolutely stunning and really not at all hard to make. We made these in our club meetings last month and I think everyone really enjoyed them!
First I give you the supplies and then I'll give you a little description of how to make them. I followed Angie Juda Kenedy's video - she did an excellent video and I highly recommend watching it before you make one!
Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Ornament Keepsakes (128048 W, 128051 C page 3 Holiday Catalog), Perfect Punches (117022 W, 120516 C, page 120)

Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Embellishments: Cherry Cobbler 3 1/2" Scallop Tulle Ribbon (127841, page 4 Holiday Catalog), Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (127555, page 176), 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (119960, page 172), Large Pearl Basic Jewels (125577, page 175)
Punches: 1 3/4" Scallop Circle (119854, page 184) 1 3/8" Circle (119860, page 184)
Big Shot: Holiday Ornaments Framelits (127816, page 3 Holiday Catalog), Designer Rosetts Bigz XL Die (125594, page 194)
Tools - Glue gun; Silicone Craft Sheet (127853, page 31)
Here's a picture of the back - love the way it's finished off on the back
First stamp 20 each of each of the ornaments. I used Old Olive on the bigger ornament and Cherry Cobbler on the smaller one. Cut them with the framelits. Yes, that's 40 you need to cut. You will make five of each colored ornament.
After cutting, score down the center of 15 of each of the 20 different ornaments. The unscored five will be the base of each ornament.
Fold the 15 of each ornament over and start by adhering the folded ornaments to the back pieces (unscored ornaments) making sure the STAMPED SIDE IS DOWN. Add a folded piece back to back on the unscored ornament and then add one on top of the previous two. That's your first three dimensional ornament. Make a total of five of each size/color
Next step is to add the bigger ornaments to a 1 3/8" Old Olive circle with your glue gun lining them up around the circle at the base of the "neck". Just put a dollop of glue on the circle and line them up.
Next step is to add the Cherry Cobbler Tulle - this should be cut about three scallops - just run your finger into the center and gather up the tulle - put a dollop of glue between the ornaments and press your tulle down. Takes just about 30 seconds to dry
Next step is to add your Cherry Cobbler ornaments on top of the tulle. Add a dollop of glue and set the smaller ornmanet so it's sticking up
Let that all dry good and in the meantime cut a piece of Candlelight Christmas Speciality Designer Series Paper with the Designer Rosette Bigz XL die 12" x 1". Make your rosette using some glue from the glue gun and the Silicone Craft Sheet. Just put a BIG dollop of glue down, scrunch up your rosette (after glueing the ends together) dip it into the glue. Hold for about 45 seconds. Add your vintage faceted button to the front (with a jumbo pearl glued in the center), and add to the rosette with the glue gun
Add a piece of 1/8" Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon on one of the ornaments for hangin.g
So......looks hard, but really isn't. Again I recommend watching Angie Juda Kennedy's video.
