Are you looking for a quick way to make up your Holiday Cards? I saw this idea and went with it. It incorporates the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags (just $3.95), card stock and some sentiments. These go REALLY quick and easy and anyone would be proud to send them out AND receive them at this time of year.....
There are 15 cards - so I took three different pictures - then I'll share each "set"
You get 25 tags - 5 each of 5 differetn designs.
The first set uses the line of ornaments - I added sentiments to each tag and then used the "red backed" set of five. I cut them in half to "frame" the ornament tag. I then color coordinated with Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler - made three of one and 2 of another with each set. Here's a close up of the two different configurations. So that the red would show up on the Cherry Cobbler, I added some Gumball Green cut with the Windows Frames Framelits
I made three of one and two of another
This next set is using the Reindeer and the striped back pieces.
Sam idea - I cut the striped tags in half and framed the Reindeer tags.
And the closeups
Again is color-coordinated and made five cards
And last I added some ribbon for a different effect and used up the last five tags.
With each set I used different embossing folders - love the embossing!
the embossing folders I used were
Woodgrain (127821, page 33 Holiday Catalog)
Lacy Brocade (127819, page 6 Holiday Catalog)
Perfect Polka Dots (117335, page 189)
Have you seen the Sizzix Textured Embossing Machine? Stampin' UP is doing a test market on these little machines - they are ONLY for embossing. Very handy and really inexpensive. Click here to go directly to my webstore where you can view a video and ready more about it AND order one for yourself !
If I don't see you before, have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!
