The next project we did during our Technique Tuesday class was using the new Stampin' Spritzers. These little bottles are for adding a whole new dimension to your creations.
Spritzers come two to a package for just $2.95 (Item # 126185, page 179). They are great for spritzing larger areas, masking and watercoloring!
Use them with our Stampin' Reinkers and with the Shimmer Paints (page 158).
First I will show you the card we made, give you the supplies and then the instructions and tips!!
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370 W 127802,C, page 133)

For this card, we first ran a piece of card stock through the Big Shot with the Window Frames Framelits. We used the negative part and spritzed with Soft Suede on the Very Vanilla card front. We then ran that through the Big Shot wit the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.
The Beautiful Wings Butterfly was cut with the Big Shot and then run through the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder. We attached all the butterflies to the front of the card with mini glue dots and added the basic pearls.

And one more sample using the Stampin' Spritzer to color the Paper Daisies AND for a different background
How did get the background? Another demonstrator found a really cool piece of "metal" at her local hardware store. I went looking and couldn't find what she had, but found this piece of something to do with gutters {BIG GRIN}. I'm SO into this type of stuff. Sam cut it up for me into 5 1/4" x 4" pieces. I just laid it on top of my crumb cake piece of card stock and spritzed with Midnight Muse and Frost White Shimmer!! Cool effect, eh?
Here's a picture of the piece of metal
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370 W 127802,C, page 133)
Card Stock: Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla
Ink: Midnight Muse
Embellishments: Paper Daisies (119243, page 175), In Color Dahlias (127556, page 175), Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126847, page 172)
Punches: Large Oval (119868, page 184), Scallop Oval (119856, page 184)
I spritzed the smaller daisy with a combo of Midnight Muse and Frost Shimmer Paint (116854, page 158). The background is also spritzed with this combo - it really has a "glow" which doesn't show up in the pictures!!
These are quite simple cards to do and really fun. My goal is to get all of the 50 colors in my spritz bottles, so I can have them handy!
I found these neat Spritzer Holders - here's what I'm storing my Spritzers in
