We can't have a club meeting without making a card. The first two projects were custom boxes and a desktop note holder. So, just had to add a card.
I just absolutely LOVE the new Blossom Punch that is in the Occasions Mini Catalog (page 17) It's so beautiful used in so many including using it with the coordinating stamp set Mixed Bunch (also on page 17).
For this card we focused on just punching the flowers using the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper!
Stamp Set: Create a Cupcake
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (125406, page 13 Occasions Mini)
Ink: Island Indigo
Embellishments: 3/8” Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon (125570, page 12 Occasions Mini), Twitterpated Designer Buttons (125579, page 12 Occasions Mini)
Punches: Scallop Trim Border (118402, page 211), Blossom Punch (125603, page 16 Occasions Mini), Boho Blossoms (119858, page 210)
This card is pretty self-explanatory. We punched the pink slice with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and added some Baja Breeze behind it - then strung the ribbon over that. TIP: A good way to keep your ribbon from falling off, is to use Sticky Tape on the back. We punched out the flowers with the blossom punch and curled them slightly with a pencil (or anything round you have handy!!). We then mounted the small Boho Blossom flowers in the middle and added the Twitterpated buttons with mini glue dots. We then mounted all three with dimensionals!
