St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Card

Not long, so need to think about those St. Paddy's Day cards.  I've done some darling ones in the past - with St. Paddy himself in punch art, but this time I thought about the Shamrocks.  And I have always loved making either bookmarks or frig magnets with these jumbo sized paper clips!!  Fun!

Kind of hard to tell in the picture, but I used our Silver Glimmer Paper and changed it to GREEN for St. Paddy's Day.  Here's a close-up.  Still hard to tell, but it DOES look green.  I used a sponge dauber and sponged ink over the Silver Glimmer paper.  Pretty nifty as you can change it to any color you desire!!  Whoo Hoo!!

 

These are quick and easy

Card Stock:  Whisper White, Garden Green, Silver Glimmer Paper (124005)

Ink:  Garden Green and Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker

Punches  1 3/4" Scallop Circle  (119854, page 210), 1 1/4" Circle (119861, page 212), 1" Circle (119868, page 212) Small Heart (117193)

Sponge Daubers:  (102892, page 203)

Just sponge your ink onto the paper until you get the desired color.  Punch out the hearts and apply them to the 1" circle.  To attach to the Jumbo Paper Clip, I used Crystal Effects (101055, page 206).

And here's the card I made

I used the Emboss Resist for the background.  I stamped the flowers from With All My Heart on Glossy White Paper with VersaMark.  I then poured clear embossing powder over those and heat set them.  I used a sponge and sponged with Daffodil Delight and Garden Green.  Talk about a WOW effect

Punches:  Full Heart (119883, page 210), Small Heart (117193, page 210), Modern Label (119849, page 209)
