I started my Technique Tuesday class on Tuesday (obviously!!) and this first class we did heat embossing and double embossing. I love embossing and don't add it to my creations nearly enough, so this has me enthused. I want to share the cards we made and also the samples I shared with the class over the next few days.
First of all this simple heat embossing.
Stamp Sets: P.S. I Love You ( WM 125460, CM 125462, page 8 Occasions Mini 2012), Teeny Tiny Wishes (115370, page 157)
Card Stock: Concord Crush, Whisper White, Sweet Shop Specialty Designer Series Paper (125408, page 33 Occasions Mini 2012)
Ink: Concord Crush, VersaMark, Old Olive, Clear Embossing Powder (109130, page 201)
Punches: Modern Label (119849, page 209), Word Window (119857, page 209)
Tools: Stamp-A-Ma-Jig (101049, page 207), Heat Tool (100005, page 201)
Since we don't have craft ink in Concord Crush, I first stamped the valentine in Concord Crush and then using the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, I stamped again with VersaMark. Then covered that with clear embossing powder and heat set it. It's really shiny and adds SO much to the card.
If you would like to take part in my Technique Tuesday classes and are local, they will be held every first Tuesday of the Month - cost if $8 (supply fee) - you will receive instructions to add to a 6 x 6 album and we will make a project plus a sample to attach to the card. We will do at least two projects each evening.
Don't live close enough? I charge the same fee $8.00 plus shipping to send you the product to make your own sample and project. Just email me at [email protected] with any questions.
