ON September 1st, the brand NEW scoring tool by Stampin' UP was unveiled!! YIPPEE!! Many of us have felt the need of a good scoring tool and SU came through. It's called the Simply Scored Scoring Tool! You can view it in the new Holiday Mini Catalog 2011 by Stampin' Up on page 6 and 7. This tool is the best tool for a stamper, scrapper. Today I wanted to share a quick card I made using the medallions and some new products from the Holiday Mini Catalog. If you don't have yours yet, email me at [email protected] and I"ll get one off in the mail to you immediately!

To make these beautiful medallions, you cut your card stock 1/2 the width you want the medallion. This small medallion is 1 1/2" so I cut my designer series paper 3/4". I then laid it on the Simply Scored board and scored every 1/2". You make two of these and then accordian fold them - attach them together with Sticky Tape on each end to make a circle. Then push one circle down and scrunch together to make the circle. I used cut a 1" circle of card stock and applied sticky strip to the back (you can also cut a 1" circle from our Sticky Sheets (114300, page 216). I would have used them, but I'm out!! Amazing
I adhered the back of the medallion with the above 1" sticky circle and then applied sticky strip to the back of the Boho Blossoms punch out and also added the designer brad. They have stuck fine!
