I saw this darling "Old Fashioned" dresser mirror first on Stampin' Connection (the demonstrator only gallery - ask me how YOU can be a member of this exclusive club!!!) Jackie Topa did these darling little mirror cards and I just HAD to case them.
Supplies:
Stamp Set: You’re a Gem (WM 122268, CM 122270, page 156)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Window Sheets, Window Sheets, Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (120805 page 216)
Ink: Soft Suede
Embellishments: Victoria Crochet Trim (118481, page 194) Antique Brads (117273, page 198)
Big Shot: 3” Circle Die (122125, page 220), Circles #2 (114526, page 220), Top Note Die (113463, page 222)
Metal Sheets (Non SU), Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (115964, page 219)
Step 1: Run Very Vanilla Card Stock through 3” Circle Die. Next fold piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock and run it through 3” Circle Die again – pulling the fold down below the top of the die to make a “card”
Step 2: Cut two “handles” with the Top Note Die. Place two pieces of Very Vanilla Card Stock on the Top Note and run through Big Shot. Next take both top notes and line them up at the top of the die and again run through the Big Shot
Step 3: Run 3” single circle and “handles” through the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder
Step 4: With a sponge dauber, lightly add Soft Suede ink over the embossing of the “handles” and the 3” circle.
Step 5: Adhere 3” embossed circle over the folded card. Adhere handles together and then to the back of the “mirror piece”
Step 6: Cut out two pieces of the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets with the 2” circle from the Circles #2 Die. Also cut a piece of Metal Sheet (NON SU) and another 2” piece from the Window Sheets.
Step 7: Adhere one of the adhesive circles to the top of the metal sheet – then place the window sheet over that. Next adhere the other adhesive circle to the back of the metal sheet and adhere this to the 3” circle.
Step 8: Stamp greeting inside card
Step 9: Tie 10” length of Crochet trip into a bow. Press brad prongs through center of bow and attached to handle with mini glue dots.
