I've been needing some Sympathy cards - wanted to share the ones I made this week
Stamp Set: Close as a Memory (now retired)
Card Stock: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Beau Chateau (122357, page 184)
Ink: Marine Mist
Embellishments: Marina Mist 5/8" Satin Ribbon (now retired),Basic Pearls (119247, page 198)
Big Shot: Elegant Lines Textured Impressiosn Embossing Folder (119277, page 219)
I can hardly make a card these days without using one of the embossing folders. Just LOVED them. Do you know the "sandwich" for the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders?

Run through your Big Shot!! Easy, peasy and SO effective
Here's another card
I received a swap card at convention which had this layout. SO easy, yet SO awesome
Stamp Set: Close as a Memory (now retired)
Card Stock: Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black
Punch: Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer (122464, page 211)
Big Shot : Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976, page 218)
I punched the blossom bouquet flowers and attached them to the Whisper White card stock with Stampin' Up Anywhere Glue Stick (104045, page 206). I also stamped the sentiment and then ran that through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I find the glue stick is the best adhesive for this type of "embossing" - it covers the entire area and sticks down better.
Quite a simple process, but very effective
