"Twas a big day - we started up Tracy Arm at about 6:00 a.m. There was a cloud cover, so we couldn't really see the towering mountains, but it was awesome anyway seeing all the icebergs floating along.
The destination was to see the Sawyer Glacier - we even were able to see an iceberg "calve"!! It gets very narrow at the iceberg, so couldn't get too close - the captain is excellent and got us as close as was safe!
See all the icebergs in the foreground?
After the Tracy Arm we headed north again to Juneau. Arrived about 2:00 – we decided to walk the town and then took a tour to the Mendenhall Glacier
