I recently participated in a Quilt Square Swap. This was hosted by Nicole Gunter and we all did 13 squares and received 12 in return. The purpose of the swap was to show our customers how the Big Shot can fit into the quilting world!!
We were to use either the Springtime Vintage or Sweet Stitches Designer Series Fabric from the Occasions Mini Catalog (which BTW will be carried over into the new 2011-2012 Catalog - you can view the carryover items by clicking here)
So without further to do, here is the quilt (you can click on each pictures to see it a bit bigger)
I want to thank my sister for all her help - first in helping me plan my square and then helping me put the quilt together. She is an expert seamstress and I couldn't have figured it out without her help!! Thanks Elaine!!
Here are pictures of the top six squares
And the bottom six squares
And the back - we used the Springtime Vintage Fabric to do separate the squares, make the binding around the top and for the back
I just absolutely adore this quilt and thank all the participants for their participation. All squares are made using the Big Shot dies. As you can see there are some wonderfully creative crafters that participated in this swap!
If you have any questions, please ask and I LOVE comments!! Please leave me one!
And this is the first in a series of projects I made for the Big Shot Class from last week. Stay tuned as I'll be adding Big Shot projects all week!
