I found this darling little purse online at Becky Robert's site. She is a purse "specialist" and I love seeing her creations. These make lovely little gifts and can hold little pieces of candy or stick a chap stick inside for a gift for a little girl!! Cute, cute
Card Stock: Baja Breeze, Springtime Vintage (now retired)
Big Shot: Oval Scallop Frame (114521, page 207), Fun Flowers (121812)
The box is made from a piece of Baja Breeze Card Stock cut 7 1/2" x 3" and scored at 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 6" and 7"
Score on the short side at 1" on each side. Cut into the score lines where they intersect and fold into a box. Attach the ovals after you have attached the dsp to the baja breeze (cut off the bottoms so it will sit flat). Cut one "frame" in half and attach to front and back of purse. The closure is a modern label punch - I used a very small magnet for the closure - another good idea are the round velcro fasteners.
The flower is made from the smallest Fun Flowers die. I cut three - ran them through the crimper and separated the card stock. I layered them and attached them together with adhesive - then crumpled them up and flattened them out (somewhat!!)
Fun, fun for little girls. I made a black and white one and already gave it away - I'll make another and share later
