One of the latest and greatest crazes in the stamping world are the easel butterflies. These are SO beautiful and fun to make.

I took some pictures this afternoon of another one I made using metal sheets
First of all cut a piece of card stock (or metal as I used here) 3" by 6". Fold in half and place on the Beautiful Wings Bigz die just below the top of the wing.
Kind of hard to see because the metal reflects, but I tried taking it with white card stock and that was worse (sorry I'm picture-taking challenged - anybody know of a good class??? LOL).
Here's the cut butterfly
Now fold down the bottom half of the top butterfly - if using card stock, score and then fold between the wings)
Now cut a single butterfly and run it through the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
I used a sanding block and sanded the top of this butterfly and then attached it to the folded part on the "card". I added a pearl in the center - then you can mount this on a card (fold flat to mail), or use as is - add a magnet to the back and hand on the frig!!
Quite simple, but a real elegant touch, eh?
