I'm just loving this new Paisley Petals Designer Paper and since this is a sample of what is coming in the New 2011-2012 Idea and Catalog to be revealed on July1st, think of the fun we will be having :)
I used the Big Shot and the Square Scallop Die to make this card. I cut the base card 4 3/4" x 9 1/2" and scored at 4 3/4" and folded. I then ran the card stock through the Big Shot using the Square Scallop die - I placed the fold just below the scallops on one side - that way it wasn't cut through and makes a lovely scalloped card.
Card Stock: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Paisley Prints Designer Series Paper (now available with a $20 order 122367)
Punches: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border (119275, page 200)
Big Shot: Scallop Square (115950,m page 207), Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976, page 214), Beautiful Wings Embosslit (118138, page 215)
Embellishments Basic Rhinestones (119246, page 188)
To make the neat frame, cut a piece of Not Quite Navy 3" square. Line up the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch and punch on each side. The center piece niow measures 2" square, so the Whisper White piece will be 1 3/4" square. Cut that piece and run it through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I mounted the Butterfly with Mini Glue Dots (103683, page 197).
I will add a piece of Whisper White inside for my sentiment!
Come back tomorrow for another card using different colors with the Paisley Petals DSP
