Do you feel like you are wasting paper with the Build A Blossom Stamp Set (W 121923, C 121994, page 12 Occasions Mini 2011) and the Blossom Petals Punch (121808, page 12 Occasions Mini 2011)? I did and I was rather frustrated. Hate to be wasteful.
You can cut strips and stamp your blossoms and that works great if you just want to use a one petal or leaf
For the Large Petal
For the leaf
For the smaller petal
And a great tip if you want to stamp and punch all the figures
First punch out a template from card stock or even from our Window Sheets (114324, page 205)
The next step is to turn your template the correct way (line it up with the bottom of the punch). I am adding this because the first time I used it the opposite way and of course had to start all over again - my mistakes help you NOT make them LOL
I added a little dotto to the template to keep it in place and then stamped through each image
Then lined it up with the punch and punched them all at the same time!!
I hope this will help you save some card stock!!
Jan this is a great tip.
If the customer has the clear-mount set they can make the template like you did. Lay the template on the table, then lay their stamps in the proper position with the rubber side down. Then press their clear-mount block on top of the stamps. They can stamp them all at once and then punch out. I taught this to my guests today at a blossoms class. Of course if you want to stamp in different colors just use the template for each stamp.
Love this punch and stamp set.
