I saw these beautiful quilt cards on Becky Robert's blog. I cased them as a hostess gift for my workshop last night!! Just LOVE them!! Going to use them for my next weeks' workshops!! Didn't they turn out beautifully?
I used Marina Mist as the card base on this card. And all these cards are using the new FOUR FRAMES stamp set - the first look at the upcoming NEW 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog. Demonstrators get to pre-order this set through March and then come April 1st customers can order this set (and some new designer series paper with a $20 order). OR book a workshop in April and have $350 in sales and you will receive this stamp set and the designer series paper FREE. Call me today to book your workshop!!

To make these cards, I cut out a piece of Very Vanilla 5 1/4" x 4". I then punched out 12 pieces (one of each of the kinds in the Springtime Vintage DSP (121782, page 15 Occasions Mini 2011). I used the 1 1/4" punch. I then applied them all to the Very Vanilla piece with our Glue Stick (104045, page 197. Next step was to run this piece through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976, page 214). Just LOVE the look! I added some Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon (117291, page 191) and stamped the New Four Frames stamp - I left off the sentiment so my hostess could add her own. I then backed each frame with matching card stock. Want to know how to "frame" your decorative label punch? Click here to view my video tutorial.

Oh, Jan, these are absolutely beautiful! And, they really do have the look of a quilt. I'm a quilter also, and these would make a great gift set for a fellow quilter.
