I'm SO ready for Spring - are you too? We THOUGHT we were getting by easy until last week - dumped on with about 8 inches of really WET snow which had about 20,000 locals out of power for about 30+ hours. Brrr - The "Good 'ole days???" Remember your folks saying that? Lanterns, fireplace fires that only get you warm if you are standing right next to it?? NO WAY! I'm ready for SPRING and warm weather.
Actually I can't complain too much today as it's sunny out - but SO bright because of the sun on the SNOW.
So I cased this card from Jackie Topa - this darling little skunk (Flower??) is peaking through the flowers and he too wants Spring to come anyday!! Isn't he just the cutest little guy? I didn't add a sentiment yet because I'm not sure who will be the recipient and for what occasion :)
Card Stock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red, Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive

Big Shot: Petal Cone Die (121810, page 15 Occasions Mini 2011), Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (119976, page 214)
Yep I made the Flower Pot out the Petal Cone die - I cut off the top circle about 1" - and used that to mark the bottom of the flower pot and then cut it off. I then ran that throught the Square Lattice Embossing Folder! And little skunky pooh is made out the Blossoms Petals Punch. Now is that clever or what. Thanks to Jackie Topa!! And his little paws peeking over the top of the pot are made from the Small Oval Punch! What fun!!
BRING ON SPRING!!
