For my workshop this week, the hostess, Amy asked me to do a demonstration of different things that you can do with the Top Note Die (113463, page 207). The Top Note Die is the most popular die and honestly I have just touched the surface of all that can be done with this popular die. Over the next few days I'll share some of my creations.
To start I made this simple calendar - this one has an "easel" on the back to stand up, but you could also put a magnetic on the back to put on the frig
Card Stock: Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper (121782, page 15 Occasions Mini 2011)
Embellishments: Very Vanilla 5/8" Satin Ribbon (117291, page 191), Vintage Flower Adornments (121879, page 15 Occasions Mini 2011)
Big Shot: Top Note Die (113463, page 207).
I used the back to the designer series paper for the back - I cut it with the Top Note Die and then cut the designer series paper. I used a Anywhere Glue Stick (104045, page 197) to adhere the DSP to the cardboard backing. The "easel" is also made from the cardboard backing. I cut a piece of cardboard 7" x 2" - just scored it at 3 1/2" from each end - and folded it together at the top and attached it to the back with sticky strip!
Just add a magnet to the back if you would like to put it on the refrigerator! Quick and Simple and a nice gift!
