I just love making up our Simply Scrappin' Kits into card sets. At Thanksgiving we were at the beach and I took Simply Scrappin' Kits with me and all of us gals had fun making up the card sets. You can see my idea here with instructions. When I have time, I will redo my layout again and share the template. Right now the holidays are here and, as usual, I'm behind in making my gifts.
I'm sorry to be so long in posting to this blog. Thank you for missing me :) My husband was hospitalized two weeks before Thanksgiving. Then we were gone five days over Thanksgiving and then again this last weekend. So....not much time to create and share
But I'm back and hopefully will get caught up with all the projects I've been doing
Here are the cards I made. I used one of the pieces of Designer Series Paper for the OSW (One Sheet Wonder) layout. I then made up 16 cards!! I used the 12 x 12 pieces of textured card stock for the card bases and what was left over I used for the accent pieces. The sticky diecuts that come with the Simply Scrappin' Kits are unique to each kit and are so fun to incorporate into the designs of the cards. I now have enough left over that I can do more sets. I just need to add card stock for the base of the cards. Such a really thrifty way to make up a bunch of cards ahead of time!
I used the Love Birds Simply Scrappin' Kit (118707, page 178). Here are teh 16 cards I came up with. I will add any additional products I used after each picture

Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch: 119275, page 200)

Most of the Simply Scrappin' Kits come with sentiments; I also took along some retired rub-ons so my gals could practice using them!! So a lot of these sentiments come from the rub-ons. Also from the SSK and a few stamp sets

Modern Lable Punch (119849, page 202)
Word Window Punch (119857, page 202)

Layer #1 is a piece of the matching DSP from the kit
The sentiments come with the SSK
1 1/4" circle punch (119861, page 202)
